Sales of Costco Wholesale Corp. November rose 15.1% to 15.67 billion, the retailer said late Wednesday, a pace a bit slower than in previous months.

Revenue for the first quarter of the fiscal year increased 16.9% to $ 42.35 billion. Sales in the same store increased 13.4% in November and sales in the same store increased 15.4% for the quarter. Online sales rose 71.3% in November and 86.4% in the quarter, according to the retailer.
The jump in sales in November follows a sales increase of 16% compared to the previous year in October and an increase of 17% in September.
Costco stock fell 1.7% after the close of trading after falling 1.1% on the regular trading day. The stock is up 30% over the past year, compared to a gain of around 13% for the S&P 500 index
