The airline announced that it will operate a daily 737 Max flight between Miami and New York from December 29 through January 4. Flights can be booked from October 24th. “We are staying in touch with the FAA and Boeing regarding the certification process and we will continue to update our plans depending on when the aircraft is certified,” the company said in a statement. The Boeing 737 MAX has been grounded since March 2019 after 346 people were killed in two fatal accidents. However, the FAA is expected to lift its grounding order in November.
